Folks,
Scheduled Downtime The BIAC network in Duke North (MRI) will be down Saturday 3/3/07 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is due to network equipment upgrades in Duke North. The Radiology network will also be affected.
Impact
- The BIAC network may be disconnected from the rest of Duke and the Internet. (Update to follow.)
- Computers in the VA on the Duke Network may be affected based on the above.
- Computers in Duke North will be entirely disconnected from the network, including the rest of BIAC in the Bell Bldg.
- You will not be able to run experiments on the MR scanners. The BIAC MR scanners will be entirely disconnected from the network, including the rest of BIAC in the Bell Bldg.
Note: While the computers within the Bell Bldg. should be able to communicate with one another (this includes servers Adrian, Gall, Goldman, Golgi, Hall, Hodgkin, Huxley, Katz), I cannot guarantee that this connectivity will be uninterrupted. If you are in Bell or DHN, please don't depend on being able to work during this outage.
Thanks, Francis
