Yesterday, I lost my connections to the /Data/Debellis/CUD.01 and /Data/Debellis/GSMS.01 directories. After many failed attempts of trying to connect through SMB, I also tried to mount the experiments after logging into a node using Qinteract. Once connected to node49, I tried running:

lnexp CUD.01

and

lnexp GSMS.01

I received this error message for both attempts:

ERROR: Unable to mount experiment

Any ideas of what is going on?

Thanks, Chris. I tried that approach without success. I can't see anything within Data/Debellis/. However, I can see directories within Data/Huettel/

Should be working now. your share was moved to a new virtual server on munin.

so now if you want to use mntshare, its "//munin2/debellis" , however lnexp will work the same

Excellent. Thanks. Will the munin2 change be permanent?

as long as you are accessing the Debellis share directly ... ie //munin2/debellis

However, you still should be able to get to //munin/data/Debellis as before

This problem seems to have returned. I can't connect to the experiment directories within Debellis.

let me know some of the errors you're receiving so i can look into it.

ie: nodes, specific commands, etc

Only thing i have found is a bunch of incidence where it successfully worded for CUD.01 yesterday

I am able to access the directories through Qinteract. But, trying to connect via SMB is timing out. I've tried both munin2.biac.duke.edu/debellis/cud.01 and munin.biac.duke.edu/data/debellis/cud.01

Where are you connecting from? What IP address, OS, command? If you are connecting from inside the DUMC firewall, you should be using munin2.dhe.duke.edu, otherwise use munin2.biac.duke.edu.

Right now, I'm trying to connect remotely.

OS = OS X
Finder Command = smb://yaxley@munin2.biac.duke.edu/data/DeBellis/CUD.01

I just managed to login using munin2.dhe.duke.edu after connecting via VPN. I haven't had to use VPN in the past.

If you mount data, you don't need munin2

That's only for munin2/debellis

Yeah, remove the "2" from your command, and it should work.

Unfortunately, that command doesn't work either.

Mounting the Data/ directory directly with the following command does work:
smb://yaxley@munin.biac.duke.edu/data

But, even after using that command, I still can't access the experimental directories in either DeBellis or Huettel.
