Scheduled Downtime
BIAC server Email will be unavailable Monday, 12/15/08, some time between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The server will be moved to the new machine room. The down time will likely be less than that, but I cannot provide any exact times at the moment.
Impact
- You will not be able to send, receive or read email during the outage.
- Email that is sent to you during the outage should be queued at the Duke email gateway, which will retry delivery for up to 72 hours, so no incoming email should be lost (in theory). It may not arrive until the next day, however.
