I am trying to run the QA on a subject and when I log on I get this error message on Golgi.biac.duke.edu

cifslogin huxley
[vogel@golgi: ~] $ bputil
$VAR1 = '/home/vogel/net/huxley/data';
warn! ExperimentFileName does not exist
warn! InactiveFileName does not exist
warn! ExperimentUsers does not exist
ERROR! The following configuration file errors must be addressed:
Doesn't look like //Huxley/Data is mounted
I have also tried logging on as cifslogin nernst and I also get another error. How do I access this information?

Check out Jimmy's reply to John regarding what I think might be the same issue:

http://www.biac.duke.edu/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=895&SearchTerms=symbolic,links

It's probably something with the symbolic links, so try this:

I am trying to access the katz server. I log onto golgi.biac.duke.edu and then when I try to run the QA and select the exam number for Numerosity.02 I get the following error message:
1) Experiment Name Selected.
Experiment Name => Numerosity.02
Experiment Location => /home/vogel/net/katz/data
2) Instruction Set Selected.
BIAC QA
3) Select Exam.
4) Select Functionals.
5) Select Anatomicals.
6) Select Processing Preferences.
7) Submit Processing Jobs and Exit.
8) Exit.

Enter option (1..8): 3
Checking Func/* for exam matches
Checking Anat/* for exam matches

ERROR! Exams Not Found for Experiment Numerosity.02!!
Press return to continue...

How do I log onto the Katz network to run this QA? I've read other posts, but I can't quite figure it out.

Try:

cifslogin katz

and see if that fixes things. Also, if you do:

ls -l ~/net/katz

you should see something like:

lrwxrwxrwx 1 vogel users 15 Dec 13 11:03 data@ -> /CIFS/Katz/Data/

When I enter the cifslogin katz nothing happens in golgi. When I enter -l ~/net/katz the command is not recognized. Any other suggestions?

The second command starts with "ls -l". I think you forgot the "ls".

In any case, it looks like you still have the symbolic link problem for two of the servers that are no longer available through NFS. Please run all the commands at the top of this post:

http://www.biac.duke.edu/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1113

And try bputil again...
