The parallel port can be used to trigger Presentation to begin on the Win98 system at the 4T scanner. I have tested the connection using Presentation's test function on a phantom. On the hardware page I selected "Use interrupts" from the parallel port (LPT1) in fMRI mode. Could somebody please test it using a real Presentation stimulus paradigm to make sure it works properly. I will add similar cables on the 1.5T computers next week if this works.
