The stability for the spiral-in sequence did not improve after Jerry installed the mechanical clamps to better secure the gradients. We are continuing to look for better solutions.

At this point, GE headquarter in Milwaukee has assembled a team of scientists and engineers, headed by their chief scientist Dr. Scott Hinks, to fly down here next Monday to work on our scanner. As a result, all scans for next Monday will have to be cancelled. We thank you for your continued support and patience.

The GE team requests additional time tomorrow (tuesday) as well to investigate and determine an effetive solution to remove the scanner instability. Therefore, all scans for Tuesday (Nov. 29th) will need to be cancelled.

I will keep you posted on a daily basis, if not more frequent.
