Dear all,
We have been troubleshooting imaging artifacts observed at the 3T that have been attributed to the projector. Due to the intermittent nature of this problem we are experiencing some difficulty in identifying the underlying cause. The artifact is most prevalent in structural images and we suggest turning off the projector for the duration of these scans as a precautionary measure.
Our current planned solution for this problem is the installation of a new fiber-optic goggle setup (ordered in July, currently overdue) that will be provide an alternative to projector.
I will post further updates on the status of the projector/goggle setup as we continue to resolve the problem.
