Hi all,

Does anyone know of a good neuropsych test that gives an index of distractibility in adults (preferably to be used on pc)? I know that WAIS has such a scale and that some people use versions of CPT (continuous performance task), but I do not have much experience using any of them. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,
Florin

Hi Florin,

I think CPT is probably the best. The computer program calculates normed scores for you, so it is easy to use. I might be able to remember how to interpret it if you need help....

Thanks Melissa! I also did a search and found info about TOVA. It seems that many people use it because it's easy to administer - it's also on pc. Have you used this?

Thanks,
Florin

Don't know that one Florin, but I never did much pediatrics or ADHD clinical work. Just make sure the normative sample in the age ranges you want is nice and big, and it should be fine.
