A friend of mine is looking for a roommate for the upcoming academic year. The description is below. If you're interested please contact Christopher Learn at 949-0688 or Chris.Learn@duke.edu.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This beautiful townhome is located at 32 Scottish Lane. The townhome
complex is a new development (~1 year old) called Mackenzie Place and is a 5 minute-timed drive to Duke University. Located in an end unit, with 1900-sq. feet, it is completely furnished with the exception of the bedroom for rent. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms with a separate loft/sitting room; you will have your own personal full bath and sitting room/loft with TV and phone. This space will be rented out to just one person. In addition, your bedroom has internet and cable access. On the lower level, the townhouse also has a master bedroom/bath, full size kitchen, front porch, complete back deck, and a half-bath. A personal marked parking space is available for the renter. There is a nice wood deck out back perfect for parties and
grilling, and all views are wooded and quite nice. All appliances are new (microwave, garbage disposal, refrigerator, smooth top range, washer and dryer). There is a small storage shed off the deck. Rent is $500/month, and half utilities (gas, electric, water, phone), so I would say each month would be $550-600 total expenses. Also, move in whenever you want to, move out whenever, there is no lease commitment. Graduate students/professionals who are non-smokers are most welcome. No security deposit or application required. Should you want to take a look at any time, or ask any other questions, please call 949-0688.
