Am I just looking in the wrong place, or have we not yet upgraded to SPM2 (as opposed to 2b)? It has been out for a couple of weeks, can we download it to Gall? Thanks, Melissa

Melissa,

Thanks for the note. SPM2 is now installed at BIAC in \\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\

To use the new version type the following at the MATLAB prompt or just add it to your startup.m file in your home directory:
rmpath p:\MATLAB\spm99 % Remove SPM99
rmpath p:\MATLAB\spm2b % Remove SPM2b
addpath p:\MATLAB\spm2 % Add SPM2
All of the patches available as of today (June 12, 2003) at ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm2_updates/ have been applied. If any new patches become available, please post to the forums and BIAC will update the SPM2 installation on Gall.

Enjoy,
Chuck

SPM Users,

Most of the SPM2 patches available as of today (December 17, 2004) at ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm2_updates/ have been applied to the BIAC SPM2 installation.

The files spm_dcm_sessions.m, spm_getspm.m, and spm_graph.m were on the SPM ftp server, but not listed in the official update README. I found a note about the spm_dcm_sessions.m modifications on the SPM mailing list, so I included this file in the update. spm_getspm.m appears to be part of a larger set of modifications by Thomas Nichols for "Valid Conjunction Inference with the Minimum Statistic". Since several other files not on the offical SPM update site would also need to be updated, I chose not to include this file in the update. I also did not include spm_graph.m in the BIAC SPM2 installation because I could not find any reference to these changes. If you think that either of these files should be included, please post to the forums.

Details of the updates can be found in:
\\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\README Updates 2004-12-17.txt
\\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\README Updates log.txt

Enjoy,
Chuck

SPM Users,

Most of the SPM2 patches available as of today (Feb 14, 2005) at ftp://ftp.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/spm2_updates/ have been applied to the BIAC SPM2 installation. The files spm_getspm.m and spm_graph.m were not updated for the same reasons listed Dec 17, 2004.

The WFU Pickatlas was updated to version 1.04 (from 1.02). More information and references for this software can be found at http://www.fmri.wfubmc.edu/.

Details of the updates can be found in:
\\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\README Updates 2005-02-14.txt
\\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\README Updates log.txt

SPM Users,

The WFU PickAtlas developers made changes to their tool based on SPM2 changes (spm2_jan_05.tgz) that were subsequently recalled. The recalled SPM2 code was never installed on the BIAC installation.

This update includes the related fixes to the WFU PickAtlas released Feb 16, 2005. See this message from the SPM mailing list and the WFU PickAtlas website for more information. Note that the version number for WFU PickAtlas was not changed.

Details of the updates can be found in:
\\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\README Updates log.txt
\\Gall\Programs\MATLAB\spm2\toolbox\WFU_PickAtlas\WFU_PickAtlas_changelog.txt

Enjoy,
Chuck
