I can launch MATLAB but when trying to run a script I get an error about license expiration for the Image toolbox (on my Windows machine - Winnicott ).
License Manager Error -10 Your license for Image_Toolbox has expired. Expire date: 01-sep-2012 If you are not using a trial license contact your License Administrator to obtain an updated passcode. Otherwise, contact your Sales Representative for a trial extension. |

| Well I just realized that is because my MATLAB was already opened from over the weekend. Once closed, it won't reopen and needs a license update as well. Thanks! |

right, the license has expired. Francis will have to update it for all the windows machines.
In the meantime, its up-to-date on the cluster if you need it. |

The cluster version does not work for what we need to do. Francis could you please renew it this morning if possible. We are trying to get preliminary data analysed for a grant. |

| We are trying to use the ROI scripts that opens and writes to an Micosoft Access database. I am guessing this does not work in Linux given Access is a Microsoft application. Let me know if I understand correctly. |

| no, but one option would be to write the data in ".mat" format on the cluster, then once your license gets updated just run the function that would read from a mat and create/insert into the db on your local machine. |

Thanks for that suggestion Chris. But the right option is for the license to be renewed which needs to happen anyway.
Francis - can you please let us know how long license renewal will take so we can plan accordingly viz. Chris's suggestion |

Folks,
MATLAB on all Windows computers should be working again. We are now pointing to OIT's license server, so MATLAB should not expire in the future. Sorry for the inconvenience.
