Hello,

The 4-button response box in the mock scanner (across BIAC5) has been giving us some trouble - the buttons get stuck really easily and they don't register the press well either. This has been particularly problematic in our study with kids. Is it possible to have it fixed or replaced with a good one?

Thank you.

Joon

I cleaned the buttons/connections and opened the button holes slightly so they would be less likely to stick and things are back to normal.

Thanks Chris. But the buttons are still not registering the press well. Button 4 (red) is working ok, but other buttons including button 1 (blue) require a lot of pressure to register a press. It's quite hard for adults and even more difficult for kids.

Is this something that can be fixed mechanically? If not, is there any other button box that we can use?

Sure, i have a new one at my desk ... Its identical.

However when i tested the button box you're talking about i got 100% of the responses. There's nothing mechanical that can change, its just pressing the contact down to complete the circuit, there's no adjustment.
