We (Dichter Lab) have been collecting physio data (cardiac and respiratory) using CIGAL and recently the cardiac signal does not seem to be working. It looks like a flat line in CIGAL and the data seems to reflect this as well. We've tried loosening/tightening the finger strap, taking off the strap and re-attaching it, restarting CIGAL, and warming up the finger.
This has happened twice for us, but others have reported success and that it has worked since we've had trouble, so we are open to ANY suggestion for making the pulse ox functional!

Thanks so much!

We have got similar problem today. There are cardiac.txt and respir.txt files saved under cigal output folder. However, the values are all zeros which seems the finger trap might not be the only problem. Any insights?

Thanks.

Let me know next time you plan a UserTest session and I will try to join you to see why this doesn't work for you.

FYI, this problem was resolved last Friday (8/5/11). Someone had altered the configuration file of the Measurement Computing Device.
