Folks,

Scheduled Downtime
BIAC server Munin will be down Friday, 7/23 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM to relocate it to the new side of the data center where we will have room to expand. We will also be adding about 30 TB of disk space and a redundant head unit, which should mean no further scheduled downtimes for Munin in the future.

Impact
  • You will be unable to access files on Munin.

  • The BIAC cluster will be down.

  • You will be unable to log on to Windows computers, since your home directory and profile are on Munin.

  • Everyone needs to be logged off Windows computers during this time.

Folks,

We are still in the process of bringing Munin back up. It won't be ready until at least 7:00 PM. I will post here when it is OK to connect. Until then, it may go up and down.

Update

Munin is back up and everything should be back to normal. If you were logged in to Windows computers during the downtime, you should probably log off and on again to make sure you don't get any errors. The cluster is also back up again.
