For any *.nii.gz file that I try to load in showsrs2, I was getting the following error:

>> showsrs2(readmr)
??? Error using ==> readmrgui
Error using ==> autodetectmr
Error using ==> fseek
Invalid file identifier -1.

Error in ==> readmr at 149
[argsin,workspaceVar]=readmrgui(varargin{2:end});

The issue was that Matlab wasn't running the BIAC startup script
\\munin\Data\MATLAB\BIAC\startup.m

(to run this type run \\munin\Data\MATLAB\BIAC\startup.m or run P:\MATLAB\BIAC\startup.m (if you have programs mapped as P:\)

I restarted my computer, but I still get this error:
Warning: Unable to locate central BIAC startup.m file
(\\Fatt\Data\BIAC\Programs\MATLAB\BIAC\startup.m).
Connect to network or set BIACMATLABROOT environment variable.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks!
Michele

Yes, I'm having that issue too. I think Francis just needs to update the startup-stub.m (or startup.m) file on all the local Windows machines to point to Munin instead of Fatt.
