I am running the qa script from einstein and a credible witness has testified that the script and command I am giving are correct:

qsub -v EXPERIMENT=RSFaceNum.01 run_QA 35916

the cluster pretends to start my job and then cancels it and nothing is created and the job disappears. can anyone please help me figure this out? i need qa.

just to make sure the script is indeed bug-free, can try the following command:
sh -n run_QA

can you also check the cluster logs (i.e., the *.out files created by the cluster)?

also, what is the exit status in the email you receive from the cluster (assuming you put your email in the run_QA script)?

hey jessica ... i don't know what the problem excatly was, but i wrote you a new script and put it in your home directory from one i know works.

its called new_QA.sh and its running. There must've just been some missing flag.

anyway, you are good to go with that one, just please replace my email address with yours :)
