Scheduled Downtime
BIAC servers Adrian, Email, Fatt, Goldman, Hall, Hill, Nernst and WWW will be down Friday, 4/24/09 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM for system updates. If you have a specific concern about the time, please let me know.

Impact
  • Everyone needs to be logged off Windows computers during this time.

  • You will not be able to access files on Adrian, Fatt, Gall, Goldman, Hill or Nernst. (Your user profile and home directory are stored on Hill.)

  • You will not be able to remote desktop or SSH to your office computer.

  • You will not be able to send, receive or read email.

  • The BIAC web site and scheduling calendar will be down.

The system updates were successfully completed. Everything should be back to normal.
