Yesterday we had some issues with Cigal, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar problems or has any suggestions:

Normally you select the run of your task that you need, then hit "okay." Then it waits for you either to press "w" so that the tasks starts with the scanner automatically or for you to press any button and the scanner button simultaneously so that they start together. However, yesterday as soon as I hit "okay" it kept starting the task rather than waiting for one of the appropriate triggers. Thus, we were having trouble syncing the scanner and the task. Additionally, every time the task started w/o the scanner, we had to alt-ctrl-delete out. When you do this w/Cigal, everything crashes and you have to restart the computer. So it was a lovely cycle of crashing and restarting and wondering if our behavioral and neural data were on the same time frame. However, after the 4th restart, everything worked perfectly for the last 3 runs. At first, Luke and I thought that we must have been accidentally hitting one of the buttons to trigger it, but after it became clear that this was a recurring problem we were very careful and made sure that we definitely weren't causing it. Please let me know if you have any thoughts. Thanks!
