Instructions to remedy monitor display issues at the Mock Scanner
We've had some issues when the desktop is visible on one of the three monitors, but not on the others (i.e., you can see the login screen on the monitor in the scanner bore, but not on the main desktop monitor). Solutions to the two most commonly encountered problems are below.

Possible problem #1: The ViewSonic controller device is set to display an input device other than the stimuli computer

1. This happens most often when you can see your desktop on the 'Stimuli' computer, but see a blue or green screen on the monitor inside the mock scanner bore.
2. To fix this, press the input button, slowly, and watch the display on the monitor inside the scanner bore. After cycling through a few times, you should come to the desktop display

Possible problem #2: The monitors are not in the proper display mode
We think this is happening due to individual user's display settings (multiple monitors, extended desktop, etc). To fix this, follow the instructions below.

1. Right click on the desktop background select 'properties'
This will bring up "Display properties"
**Note that if the main screen is inside the scanner bore, and you see a portion of your desktop or a blue background on the 'stimuli' monitor, you may be working in the 'extended desktop setting, and you can drag the window over to your side (to make working easier).
2. Select 'settings' tab
3. Click on the 'advanced' button
4. Click on the 'displays' tab
5. From the drop down menu select "default single display". On this screen:
- the corners of both little screens should be green
- the mini screen on the left should be designated "primary" (bulls-eye icon)
-the other should be designated "clone" (two screen icons)
6. If the button in the corner is red, click on this - this should turn the button green on both monitors
7. Click 'OK',
8. Click 'OK' again

If these two solutions don't work, please let me know.
