There has been occasional confusion about logging on to the calendar. This is because there are several possible combinations of operating system and browser.
How to logon
There are three relevant pieces of information you need to provide to logon:
If you are not prompted for a Domain, enter the following. (This is what happens on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.)
User Name: DHE\username (your domain\username)
Password: ******** (your password)
If you are prompted for a Domain, enter the following. (This is what happens on Win9x, WinNT and Win2000.)
User Name: username (your username)
Password: ******** (your password)
Domain: DHE
2) If you are using Firefox, Chrome, Netscape, or another browser with Basic authentication:
You will not be prompted for a domain; enter the following. (This is true for any operating system.)
User Name: username (your username)
Password: ******** (your password)
Notes
The following browsers are supported:
Internet Explorer 5.0 and later (5.5 and later preferred)
Netscape 4.75 and later (6.0 and later preferred)
Certain features may not be available on older browsers. Various versions of Mozilla seem to work, but there are no guarantees. You must have Javascript enabled.
How to avoid typing your password
When you are logged on directly to a BIAC or DHE computer and using Internet Explorer, you do not have to enter your username and password in the following cases:
