Hey all,

Version 1.4.0 of the processing daemon has now been installed on our processing servers. One of our Itaniums has now been quarantined as a test processing machine and the other three are still being used in production mode. We currently have two Itaniums dedicated to 3.0T processing and one dedicated to 4.0T processing.

In addition to many minor bug fixes and code cleanup, the following software modifications have been made.
  • 4.0T epi datasets are now automatically processed.
  • DICOM functionals are now being zipped and reformatted to 4d volume files by default.
  • DICOM anatomicals can now be zipped as an experiment level preference.
  • Experiment preferences are now being read from configuration files properly. Affects users whose directory structures are different from the default (e.g. FSE.01, Clinical.02, etc).
  • spstime1 and spstime2 have been added as spepi sequences.
  • 3.0T epi functional datasets using the 1-ch standard coil are now being processed properly.
  • 3.0T epi functional datasets with less than 100 timepoints are now being processed properly.
  • BIAC xmlheader tools have all been upgraded from 1.8.5pre to 1.8.10, with the lone exception of fmriqa_phantomqa
  • Reconstructed images can now be reformatted to 4D volume files as a per experiment preference.
  • byteswapped k-space files named PP are no longer splashing onto top-level Experiment Data directories. (By the way, if you happen across any of these files, they may be safely removed.)

NOTE. Details on the process for tweaking experiment level data preferences will be made available soon.

Jimmy
