A new version of showsrs2 has been put in \\Gall\Programs\User_Scripts\beta that incorporates many updates. I would like to ask users to test this new version out and report any bugs or suggestions.
Here are some descriptions of the updates:
- Delayed Resampling
Showsrs2 now has the ability to delay resampling of the image data until display. This should be useful for 'Out of memory' errors that occur when users load large datasets, or multiple overlays. If you wish to use this option, you should enter the string 'DELAYINTERP' at the end of your showsrs2 command. If delayed resampling is enabled, the menu item in the 'Config' menu, 'Using Delayed Interpolation' should be checked.
Note: This is not yet implemented when using openGL transparency.
Usage:
showsrs2(anat,tmap1,tsv1,tmap2,tsv2,'DELAYINTERP');
- 2D Clustering
Users can now enable 2-dimensional clustering of overlays in showsrs2. To do this, you will need to bring up the 'Configure' window (the one that allows you to adjust the image contrast limits), click the 'Enable 2D Clustering' checkbox, and then enter the desired cluster size (number of adjacent voxels that define a cluster).
Note1: This only works for overlays, not the base image.
Note2: Since this is 2D and not 3D, there are instances when in the orthogonal view that voxels will appear active in one view but not in one or both of the other views.
- Adding/Deleting X-Markers in Time Plot
To add an x-marker in the time series plot, right click on the background of the axes and select 'Add/Delete X-Marker'. It should be pretty self-explanatory from there.
- RAS Labels
Syam has implemented RAS label display on the showsrs2 figure for images with orientation information.
Again, please let us know if you find any bugs or have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Josh
