I am trying to re-process some data with an old protocol (Facemask.02). When I enter this into BPUTIL it says that this is an invalid experiment. Any idea what is wrong?

Thanks Jimmy!! It works.

Ok Jamie,

I've installed a test version of bputil that also parses the inactive experiment listing on Huxley to determine whether or not an Experiment is valid. This 'inactive' listing contains older Experiments that are done collecting data, but not done analyzing. On Golgi, you'll need to run

bputiltest

Eventually, this functionality will be moved into bputil itself. Please post here if you have any problems.

Cheers,
Jimmy

Hey Jamie,

BPUTIL, as of right now, parses only the active experiment listing on Huxley (maintained by Francis) in order to determine whether or not the experiment is valid. So if Facemask.02 is not in that listing, bputil won't know where to find the experiment location. I guess there are two solutions for fixing this issue, neither of which you have any control over. 1) to have BPUTIL parse a separate listing which have locations of old experiments or 2) to allow the user to set the location of a valid (though old) Experiment. Let me see what I can do to quickly implement either one of these solutions. Feel free to poll me towards the end of the week for an update. If you get antsy or need your data processed any sooner, let me know and we can meet and I can help you get your data analyzed.

Jimmy
