Posted - Aug 05 2005 : 4:52:21 PM I have found out that there is a problem accessing Golgi (Gall, etc.) in the F-Secure SSH window when your name is >8 characters long. My BIAC access permissions and passwords are all associated with Jurkowski, but my login to Golgi is shortened to Jurkowsk. Jurkowsk is not associated with my data or access permissions. How do I get around this? |

You need to use your Windows username and password for cifslogin. As in:
cifslogin nernst -U tankersley
See this forum topic for more info.

Posted - Nov 14 2006 : 5:43:53 PM Last week I could get on Nernst on Golgi, and now I am unable to. I've tried the following:
cifslogin nernst -U tankersl cifslogin nernst/data1 -U tankersl cifslogin nernst/data1/ExecInfo.04 -U tankersl
I've also tried using both my windows and my golgi password. Anything esle I can try?
Thanks,
Dharol

Posted - Aug 08 2005 : 11:01:25 AM If you do a cifslogin -h, you'll notice that you can specify the username when logging in to the server. Something like this should work.
cifslogin gall -U jurkowsk
