bputil users,

bputil v1.16 was released on Mon Feb 21 13:50:44 EST 2005. For bputil v1.15, released on Feb 14 14:39 the following bugs were reported and have been fixed:
  • Normalized anatomicals not being saved to 'Anat' directory
  • Configuration file specified by user is not being used
For those of you who had run bputil between (Feb 14 14:39 and Feb 21 13:50:44), with the coreg_normalize, normalize, or coregister instructions selected, you can recover your normalized anatomicals by perusing the temporary directory for your normalized anatomical and using dircopy -f to copy the anatomicals back.

Temporary directories can be found here:
/data/users/<username>/bputil/<examdate>_<examnumber>_<timestamp>

e.g. dircopy -f /data/users/dias/bputil/20040921_40091_1108137558/nseries004 ~/net/katz/data/SysDevelop.12/Data/Anat/20040921_40091 would retrieve my normalized anatomicals for Exam 40091.

The following bputil updates have been included in the new release:
  • BIAC QA is now being performed locally in the case where QA is not the only instruction selected.
  • Cleanup of temporary directory option added so users have more control over local disk space used
  • bputil profile/settings are now automatically being saved between bputil instantiations. Previously, users had to select the 'Save Profile' option for bputil to remember settings.
Please remember to retrieve your normalized anatomicals BEFORE cleaning up your temp directories!!

Jimmy
