Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 08:50:45 AM Dear Jimmy:
it's not transfering some files over to my experiment directory. I've tried running many times in last three days and had the same problem each time.
Let me clear what I am saying: I have 10 runs and when I look at the func/subject folders, for example, I have 1 arun folder, 2 rarunfolders, then 10 sncra folders. This is very odd and I am not sure that this pre-processing was done correctly.
I have a presentation on Monday and have to analyze the data today.
I really appreciate if you help me.
Thanks.

Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 11:12:33 AM This has happened on Hodgkin before. The problem is, once you delete stuff, it gets backed up on the drive before being finally deleted. So even though you delete say 100 GB, no space appears b/c that 100GB is still being saved on the drive, just in a different spot. Ask Francis to clear that back-up if you're confident of what you've deleted.

Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 10:08:44 AM We just deleted ~35 GB of stuff on Nernst, so that should help for awhile. |

Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 09:58:03 AM The same problem will soon occur on Nernst/data1. Space is now down to 4.1 GB. After doing some fact checking (making sure the output is correct), people might consider deleting intermediate steps. |

Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 09:51:20 AM It appears that there may be a more basic problem if your data is on Huxley, it appears to be full. |

Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 09:44:59 AM I know that there have been a number of people having trouble with jobs submitted to golgi not finishing (upstairs). (or more precisely some finish successfully others do not). It was my understanding that this had to do with the sheer volume of jobs currently being re-preprocessed right now. But perhaps Jimmy or Chuck can give a more precise answer and some suggestions. |

Posted - Oct 08 2004 : 09:38:52 AM I'm also having problems with Golgi. I've tried twice this morning to start a batch of preprocessing jobs using BPutil and have gotten this error.
NFS write error on host 152.3.98.130: 28. File: userid=2054, groupid=100
It kills all of my processes and happens about 40 minutes after beginning the job.
Thanks.
