How can I compile the commonly used BIAC tools on linux machines? I am talking about scripts like bxh2analyze for example. Is the source code available somewhere and can I just build it on the linux machine? |

The above link has the latest tools, including 64-bit Linux MEX files. If you need 64-bit something else, let us know. |

If you're looking for the BIAC MATLAB tools...
I would normally point you to the version on \\hill\data\BIAC\Programs but unfortunately it's down right now. You can grab this however:
http://www.biac.duke.edu/home/gadde/BIAC_matlab_20090424_ver3.1.4.2.zip
I'd tell you it's the latest, but I can't confirm it until hill is back up.
If you are looking for the command-line BXH tools you can grab them now from:

I'm setting up MATLAB on Ubuntu 9.0.4 and hoping to install all the BIAC tools. Will the version posted on the BIAC wiki (0.93) work or is the a different version I'll need?

This uses a new method of creating portable Linux binaries. Let me know if it doesn't work. |

You can get the latest pre-compiled version of the tools here:
http://www.biac.duke.edu/home/gadde/bxh_xcede_tools_1.8.43_linux.tgz
which will be easier than compiling them yourself. These are static compiles and should have no library dependencies (though the QA tools will require external tools to be installed like gnuplot and ImageMagick). |
