Dear Users,

We've recently discovered a bug in the linux kernel that specifically causes a problem with the interaction window's fileservers running window's 2003. ( fatt/hill/nernst, not munin )

Whenever you kill a process that accessing files ( either ctr+x or linux/sge kills a process, etc ) the server rejects any credentials coming from the affected machine, regardless of user.

We've compiled a local kernel ( thanks syam ) with the supported patch that alleviates the issue.

I'm now in the process of systematically rebooting all cluster nodes so that this patch takes effect, but please be patient as i'm trying to do this in a way that does not effect current usage ... meaning i don't want to kill everyone's jobs.
