I'm trying to mount Metaphor.01 in Matlab. when i type 'chexp Metaphor.01', I get:

??? Error using ==> chexp
Error using ==> findexp>local_parseExperimentFile
Unable to open list of experiments (\\munin\data\daemon\inactive.txt). Permission denied
No settings changed

I can navigate to the experiment directories and files by typing '\\Fatt\Data\Diaz\Metaphor.01\' into the navigation bar. But some of my scirpts don't seem to be working as they normally do. re-ran my startup.m and that seems as it should be. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

hey lars, whens the last time you logged off your machine, and/or restarted matlab?

There was an issue of people not having access to the location of the experiment locations files, which you can see from "permission denied" .. Francis fixed that on friday, so i'd guess if you haven't logged off, then your permissions haven't changed yet.
