I have been using a script to move the origin on some of my files. The script to move them is written in python, and depends on pynifti which in turn depends on the nifti c library. I have not been able to build the nifti c library on the head node effectively, but running the script with the experiment mounted over ssh is very slow.

Would it be possible to get the nifti c library and pynifti on the cluster? It seems like it would be a very useful tool for all kinds of applications. It is an excellent (and free) resource that I think many people would use were it available.

Thanks,
Andy

Thanks to McKell (who finally found rpm's that worked with the cluster), pynifti and nifticlib were installed on all cluster nodes. Please let us know if you encounter any problems.

Would this help get the ball rolling?

Sounds like a great idea. I would certainly like to use it if it were available on the cluster.

Thanks,
David
