I am having problems accessing some, but not all, websites from my BIAC office. The problem was present both on my BIAC account (from multiple computers) and on my laptop computer. I changed my laptop settings to use the Duke proxy server, and that seems to allow connections.

Obviously, I do not want to use proxy servers consistently and we want this to be fixed. Any suggestions? Is it a problem on our end? At DUHS servers?

I can access the internet through biac, but each page requires about 10 seconds to load. This happens irrespective of the computer i'm on, and has gotten successively worse over the past week.

Thanks,

Dharol

This appears to have been a temporary recurrence. Let me know if you have any further problems.

The internet connectivity problem is recurring. As before, IE has difficulty connecting to a range of sites (most not coming up at all). As soon as I go through the Duke proxy server, the connection works.

The Medical Center is experiencing some network problems that are affecting our network. They are looking into it at the moment.

I can also no longer access other email accounts through Outlook.

Perhaps relatedly, I cannot access my BIAC email from home with Outlook Express, though Remoting Accessing to my BIAC computer works fine (as does checking email through my BIAC computer).
