We're trying to run avi files in psychtoolbox and are getting the following error:

??? Error using ==> reshape
To RESHAPE the number of elements must not change.

Error in ==> aviread at 92
mov(i).cdata = rot90(reshape(X(i).cdata, paddedWidth, height));

Error in ==> Movie at 15
m=aviread(filename);

Is there a way to determine if/ why it doesn't like our avi files?

Thanks,

Dharol

I think Windows Movie Maker is part of the BIAC standard installation (at least it is on my computer), and should be very easy to use. Or if you want more of a challenge, you should be able to do it in Matlab...

you can create output avi files in cigal, so for example if you made a ppf file that displayed the 2 avi files, you can ask cigal to create an out avi file of the entire run. Sometimes there are problems depending on how many frames per second you need for the avi file, but in general it works.

In Cigal - look under the showplay menu - create avi file
