Posted - Jan 03 2008 : 10:28:16 AM Is Goldman down or otherwise unreachable, or is it just me?
Trying to connect from mach at the 3T, I can get to all other data servers just fine...

Posted - Jan 03 2008 : 12:01:51 PM I had to reboot Goldman a couple times between 10:30 and 11:30. It was behaving strangely during that time, but appears to be back to normal now. Please post again if you experience any further problems.

Posted - Jan 03 2008 : 10:52:01 AM We (Big Lab RAs) are also having problems. Jen Felder cannot connect at all. I can connect but have problems actually opening anything. Gabriel Dichter came in a bit ago (maybe 30 minutes) and said that Jeff Hoerle was rebooting, but I haven't heard anything else. |

Posted - Jan 03 2008 : 10:47:28 AM I'm having issues as well. I remote-desktop in from another part of campus. I keep losing the Windows network connection to Goldman ("The specified network name is no longer available.") Disconnecting and re-connecting the drive will work for a few minutes, but then it loses the connection again. Connecting through Golgi is also problematic. I get "NFS server localhost not responding still trying" when cd'ing to a Goldman directory.
Any ideas what's up?
