Does anyone know how I can add images to BIAC wiki pages?

The solution for anyone interested is to ask for picture upload persmission.

I don't have the option of adding files from the media file selector, is there another way to do it?

When you go under "Edit this page", there is an icon at the top of the editor box that looks like a framed picture (right beside the smiley), and if you mouse over it, it should say "Add images and other files." This will bring up the Mediafile selector, which lets you add images.
