During the ROI meeting this morning we discussed landmark selections for drawing the superior temporal gyrus, the head of the caudate the caudate\putamen complex, Heschl's gyrus, and the planum temporale. Raj, Ron, and Seniha had some demonstrations. We then discussed the posters being presented at the CNS and the ICOSR conferences. Lihong, Kevin, Chuck and Raj discussed their findings. Our next meeting is scheduled for April 4th, at 9:30 am. We will discuss how we can generate statistics on ROIs (i.e. performing ROI analyses), such as t-maps for each task condition, contrast maps between task conditions, average them across subjects, etc...
There has also been a suggestion that we might find another room to hold the meeting, since the Big lab also serves as a work area for most people, who may not necessarily want to participate in this meeting. I will explore the possibility of meeting in the conference room, or perhaps in the Duke North small lab area.
