when this happens i find its best to check the Gameport device settings through the window's control panel ... if its working there, chances are restarting by closing and restarting cigal it will work the second time.

its just voodoo

The button box was not working on the 4T scanner. Before running our stimuli, we used Cigal to make sure the button box was working and did not get a response. We then tried using a second button box device and that also did not work when we checked it on Cigal.

Could you provide more information please?
Which scanner, which button box, which software?
Were there no responses or intermittant responses?

thanks,
Jim
