Does anyone know of a company that makes MR-compatible 5-button response boxes? Our new experiment is a 5-choice task. Thanks.

Does the 8-button box work with joystick 2 mouse on the 4T? It seemed to work fine when I tested it at the 3T, but I encountered a number of problems yesterday at the beginning of a scan and was not able to finish all of my functional runs. Is there a manual/instructions that are available wrt the 8 button box?

Two 8-button response devices have been purchased, one for each scanner.

I've had no problems at the 4T.

Is the 8 button box only at the 4T? I will be scanning a study at the 3T that requires the 8-button box. Also, just wondering if anyone has had problems with subjects using the box in the scanner? Thanks!

FYI, here are the ascii codes from the new bimanual 8-button box at the 4T:

EPrime sees it as a keyboard, not an SR Box.

The Cabeza Lab would also be interested in using a 5 or an 8 button response box.

Dear BIAC investigators:

I am considering purchasing a response box from Current Designs (see above). My study requires a 5-button box, however they make an 8-button version as well. I have quotes from the company for both versions. I would like to be as economical as possible, but realize that others might have use for more than 5 buttons. Please let me know if this interests you and perhaps we could purchase this together. Thank you,

-Gabriel

I'd like to put a vote in for the 8-channel
two pad model listed on the website that Michele
listed (and potentially the track ball). I know
that several investigators are considering confidence
rating designs with a minimum of 6 response options.
Ian.
