Cigal has been updated to version 4.81.06 on both machines in the 1.5T (Donders and Mach) and \\Gall\Programs, mainly to deal with the new button box on the 1.5T. Certain other minor bugs (which have been sidestepped till now and hence never exposed to the user) have also been fixed. Running start.cgl from anywhere on the network or on the machines in the 1.5T should now automatically start the new version.

The old version of CIGAL is still available on the 1.5T machines under D:\Programs\Cigal\OldVersions\4.81.05, in the unlikely event that you encounter a problem. Please also let me (vijay@biac.duke.edu) know if you detect any problem with the new version.

The Cigal versions on the 4T will updated after a day or two, after this interim period of testing.

Cigal Version 4.81.06 has been installed and tested on the 4T Windows 98 machine as well. Please let me (vijay@biac.duke.edu) know in case of any problems.

Yes, the new button box does work with Presentation.
You will probably need to set your Input Devices options
to use the box though. That's what I did to test it
and it worked fine, but I don't know how to save the
new device settings. I believe Daniel Weismann has
adjusted his Presentation paradigms successfully.

Do we know if the new button box now works with Presentation on Mach (Win XP machine) on the 1.5T?

Thanks,
Sara Moore
