Does anyone know if the small box that shows up on the calibration grid in Eyespace in Viewpoint is tracking the eye in real time?

To elaborate.... The Eyespace window contains both the scanpaths acquired during calibration as well as a small box that appears to be point of regard. The issue is that the small box jumps around on what appears to be the edges of the calibration scanpaths, or even outside the calibration scanpaths, throughout the scan, suggesting that viewpoint thinks the majority of fixations are at the edges of or outside the image being displayed to the subject. Has anyone else noticed this?
