Hi,

I was having trouble with the video switcher program at BIAC5 yesterday. When I started the program, the connection was inconsistent and a pop-up error message about the connection appeared. Unfortunately, I did not write down the exact message. When I tried to click on the icon to change the projector input setting, the row/column interface would disappear and there would only be a gray background. The interface did eventually reappear sometimes, but other times I just had to close the program and restart it again. Has anyone else experienced this as well? I will try it again the next time I am there, but I just want to check in in case (1) there is a problem and/or (2) I'm missing something.

Thanks!
Pooja

The software connection between the computer and the video switch seems to be erratic on BIAC5. I suspect it is because the cable goes through a USB adapter. We will find a software solution, but in the meantime the MR techs know how to change the switch connections manually. Ask them to change the switch if the software method doesn't work for you.
