Within the past week, the Right-side stimulus display computer has been very slow to activate matlab scripts, and very slow showing .avis in both cigal and matlab -- it will frequently make these mini-pauses. Both the slow starting and the mini-freezes are fairly recent but consistent developments.

Has any body else had either of these problems or have suggestions?

Thanks,

Dharol

The left-side computer has a much faster processor and more RAM than the right-side computer. You might want to just switch over to that computer.

i would suggest clearing the matlab memory before running each run, and kill any irrelevant processes that might be running on the computer (possibly reboot it before your experiment). sounds more like RAM than a problem with the monitor.
